What the Hell?

Charles Isherwood, the second-string theater critic for the New York Times, wrote about other things to do while the stagehands strike is raging on.

I enjoy reading Isherwood’s reviews and have for almost three years now. But this bothers me. He barely even looks at off-Broadway and makes watching people fight over eggs at Trader Joe’s sound more interesting than theater. (Although, it says something about Isherwood’s writing that he makes Trader Joe’s sound more interesting than theater.)
