Let’s Talk About “Mad Men” and Theater Reviews Expanding Vocabulary

While I’m waiting for Mad Men to return–along with the last three episodes of Pushing Daisies–some news has come out with the acclaimed series that hasn’t been cancelled.

Lionsgate hasn’t struck a deal yet with Matthew Weiner, the creator of “Mad Men.”

But it’s going to return in the summer, so there might not be Matthew Weiner.

I want to know if Bryan Batt, who plays Salvatore Romano, is going to start singing Les Miserables in retaliation.

In other news, people are not too thrilled with me for raving about Mad Men in a print publication. Why? Because they sat down and watched it and had the same reaction I had to The Hills, minus a purging of the soul consisting of classical music and Waiting for Godot.

I also want to know who put the word “dyspepsia” in the title of the Times‘ review of Becky Shaw. I’m used to having to occasionally look up words in the dictionary that are from the actual review, but this is the first time I’ve had to look up a word used in the title.
